In the info page about myself, I told that I'm maybe not such a good singer. But I like, and enjoy singing. I like singing my favorite melodies on the computer. And I have some friends around me that like the same. -They haven't complained about my singing at all....(maybe because they are not such a good singers themselves??) :)
There are a lot of programs available for karaoke on computers. The only thing you need, is a soundblaster, a microphone, some karaoke-files, and a voice....
Of course, you can also just listen to, and read the text...but then it's not fun anymore.
Normally there are two types of files that is used. They are called .kar files, and .st3
st3 is normally used in a karaoke program that is called Real Orchestra. .kar files, is the file that is mostly used.
There are a lot of karaoke files on the net, and it's quite simple to find the song that you are looking for. This is an example on how to find a song:
Go to the search enginge HOTBOT, at www.hotbot.com. Let's say that you are looking for a song that's called Imagine. Then you can try this search phrase: midikaraoke+kar+imagine. If you are looking for a song called Hey Jude, you should try typing: midikaraoke+kar+"hey jude"
Of course, you can also try changing the "midikaraoke" with karaoke, or something other.
